Brockenhurst on Monday evenings ¨ Specialist young puppy class (for puppies under 20 weeks of age) ¨ Kennel Club Good Citizen Award Scheme (Bronze, Silver and Gold Levels) These are hall based classes, with some practical work (such as loose lead walking) trained where it matters, outside and on pavements by quiet roads. |

Ower (between Totton and Romsey) on Friday evenings ¨ Specialist group for dogs with recall problems ¨ General good manners for Forest dogs, with an emphasis on off-lead control These classes are based in an equestrian centre, which gives us much more space than a hall environment and provides a safe, non-slip floor. Very large, fast growing youngsters, dogs that are shy, or are easily distracted or distressed find this environment much more suitable than a hall. The space allows a specialist range of exercises that you will not meet in a standard dog training class. The Heelwork to Music Group also takes advantage of the ample space and safe floor surface, allowing even advanced handlers to experiment on new moves. All ability levels and breeds are welcomed and take part, from little terriers to Malamutes. We just ask handlers to demonstrate that their dog has a basic level of training before they join us. |

PLEASE NOTE: As a matter of policy I do not allow dogs with an untreated aggression problem in pet dog classes. I treat dogs with aggression problems separately before a dog is integrated into normal classes. The physical and mental well being of all dogs and their handlers is of paramount importance. |
