This course has been specially developed to help your puppy to grow into a self-confident and well-behaved adult dog. Basic training, using simple exercises, together with an emphasis on your puppy’s mental and social development are the key themes. This course is only available to puppies who are under 20 weeks at the start of the course. The course covers: TRAINING ¨ Walking on a loose lead ¨ Coming when called ¨ Sit ¨ Down ¨ Stay ¨ Give ¨ Leave MENTAL DEVELOPMENT ¨ People are great! But be polite to them ¨ How to meet and greet other dogs ¨ New places are fun ¨ Different sights and sounds are interesting – not scary HUSBANDRY ¨ Handling, vet examination and grooming ¨ Building the right relationship ¨ Grabbing their collar (useful – believe me!) Please note: We regularly train veterinary nurses from local practices who will run their practices’ puppy parties. |
